Why Palera

Managing and scoring agents is table stakes. Doing it across vendors is not.

Palera manages and scores AI agents across vendors from inside the contact center, which few platforms do. Nearly every AI agent vendor gives you a console to configure, watch and score its own agent. Automated QA is standard too. What is rare is doing either one across vendors, and rarer still is doing it from inside the contact center itself.

Palera analysis of publicly available vendor material, September 2026. Several rows derive from comparisons published by vendors about their own competitors, so treat them as a starting point and check each against that vendor's own documentation.

The claim

It is the combination, not any single column

Palera is the only platform in this comparison that does all four: Palera manages other vendors' agents, uses one rubric for AI and people, is the contact center, and prices per conversation. Several platforms do one of these well, and one or two do two. The combination is what changes the economics rather than just the tooling.

Quality platforms are not the contact center

They sit on top of somebody else's telephony, which means another contract, another integration, and a conversation record split between two systems.

Contact centers are not vendor-agnostic

The large CCaaS platforms will happily govern the AI agents they sold you. Running a competitor's agent is a different proposition.

AI vendors grade their own homework

Their analytics are real, but they cover their agent on their conversations, which is exactly the comparison you cannot use to choose between them.

Everyone else still bills per seat

Which is a pricing model indexed to the thing AI is designed to remove, and it gets worse for the buyer every quarter the program succeeds.

A fair word about training

We say grade, correct and govern, not train

Palera manages the grading, the corrections and the governance of AI agents; Palera does not fine-tune models. In most vendor consoles, training means editing prompts, knowledge base articles and guardrails. It is not model training and the buyer does not get fine-tuning control. We are not going to claim otherwise.

What Palera actually does is score every conversation on your rubric, let a manager override the score, send that correction back to the agent, and show you where it keeps failing. The grading loop is real, and it survives a demo.

Three questions for any vendor

  • Can I run a competitor's agent in your console?
  • If I leave, what happens to my transcripts and scores?
  • Does your price go up or down as AI takes more volume?

Ask us the same three. We will answer yes, they stay with you, and down.

Test it on your own conversations

Run your current AI vendor inside Palera for a month and compare them on your traffic rather than on anyone's benchmark.
